The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

After working temporarily at PSU in the Hetzel Union Building (Greek & Community Life), left to start a career in higher education administration at Susquehanna University as an admissions counselor in 1997. Two years later, I left SU to attend graduate school and work as a Residence Hall Director at Seattle University. Received a Masters of Arts in Student Development Administration in 2002. From there, worked as the Associate Director of Residence Life at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon for four years. Met my partner, Ryan Hamachek, and moved back to Seattle University so he was able to pursue a master's degree (also at Seattle University) in 2007. Since then, I've been working at the University of Washington Tacoma overseeing the Department of Student Involvement. Ryan and I will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary in October 2009. Many fond memories of Penn State including the Asian American Student Coalition, Penn State Filipino Association, University Choir, being a Resident Assistant, S&B, Hartranft and Leete Halls, Dance Marathon, and the many friends I made while in Happy Valley that I'm still in contact with today. Definitely a Penn Stater for life.
